Project: Working with environmental wastewater experts WPL, we were commissioned to capture the installation of a small water treatment works in Cheshire. The project required a short timelapse video from a high elevated mast to capture an overview of the installation and a series of images showing the ground-based detail.
Background: Repurpose of an existing RBC with WPL’s enhanced biological treatment WPL Hybrid-SAFTM technology at a United Utilities (UU) Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW) in Mowpen Brow.
The precision-engineered submerged moving-bed, fixed-film technology was developed in-house by WPL and can be retrofitted into any vessel, regardless of shape or size. WPL worked closely with UU to identify the most effective and cost-efficient solution.
Challenges: The complexity of site access, location of works, confined workspace and restricted access around the installation area.
