Architecture Photographer Manchester

Built Environment Photographer

Working from our Manchester offices, we work closely with built environment specialists to produce architectural imagery. Greg Harding has forged strong relationships with construction companies and property developers to deliver outstanding images of building work, including urban regeneration.

When shooting and producing architecture photography, Greg utilises the latest professional grade digital cameras and uses exceptionally sharp tilt and shift lenses. Using this equipment we are able to capture every detail of the environment of our clients public, commercial and residential projects.

We are driven to provide exceptional images of the built space and to document the co-existence of the people who interact with it.

Our approach as architectural photographers

An appreciation of architecture is essential when documenting the built environment. Understanding the impact of photographing in both the day and at night means that images of a building can be used to express different messages to specific audiences. Planning for the impact of weather conditions and seasonal effects further enhances the finished photography.

Of course photographing the space a building contains is important, the light offered throughout, the finishes, but most important is the purpose. Showing the use of the space provides context for which the building was originally designed. Thats why, where-ever possible we like to include people moving through the scene or acting as a guide to provide a sense of scale.

This type of architectural photography is ideal for show casing the atmosphere within leisure facilities such as restaurants and bars as well as the positive working environment of offices and commercial buildings.
