The brief: Capture stills from along the Ford Halewood production line. Capture activity of staff.
Execution:
Working on behalf of Mindworks Marketing we visited Fords' Halewood manufacturing plant based in Merseyside.
After a brief induction, we met with a production line representative who allowed us access to the assembly line. Without interfering with production we captured the engineers assembling and testing gearboxes prior to installation. It was important to work with the available ambient light as setting up studio lights could cause a hazard, also keeping the scene looking as natural as possible was paramount to the reportage look.

Following our visit, Ford announced a significant investment to create a brand new electric manufacturing line, and these images were used widely in the media to promote the investment. See below.
